BOWLING

The Timaru Bowling Club was opened for the season yesterday by a match President v. Vice-presidents, six rinks a side. The day was rather cold, but on the whole enjoyable. The green, thanks to the caretaker, Mr Sealey, was in capital playing order, and the members one and all expressed themselves very pleased with it.
