<♦ ADDINGTON MARKETS. Per Presß Association. CHKISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. CATTLE. There was a alight improvement. Extra prime bullocks brought from £9 to £11 14s, North Ihl .ndera £7 to £8, ordinary Hteers £5 to £7 10s, heifers £4 10s to £7 12s 6il cows £4 Us to £6 10*. Beef- Prime 17h to 19a 6d, gooit 15s to 16s 6d, and inferior 13^ to 14s 6d. SHKEP. The fat sheep were mostly of excellent quality and fret zers of all kinds met a keen demand, selling at from 16s to 20$, and h^avy wethers to 2ls 3d, prime merino wethers 15a to 18s 6d, others down to 12s, prime trade ewes 15-; 6d to 17s 61, medium 13s to 15s, others down to 11s. A very keen inquiry was manifested for store hoggets and best sorts brought from 14s to 16s, others down to 12s 6d, withers 15s 4d ; breeding ewes were not m demand and several lots did not reach reserves. Good young sorts brought 14s 3d to 15s 9d, and older down to 12d ad. PIQS. Fat pi us -zero easier. Baconers brought 35;? to 47d, porkerH 28s to 355, stores 20s to 30a, weaners 13a to 18s, and suckers 10a to 12s.
