r Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 14. The Assets Realisation Board subi mitted a number of their city, suburban , and couutry properties to-day. There was a crowded attendance at the sale. , The Haymarket, lately occupied by Messrs Buckland and Sons, was passed in at £9500. Other city properties passed in were the Pah mansion and subdivision of the estate, there being no bid. The bidding|for allotments in the Surrey Hill ■ estate was brisk, and a considerable number were sold. The Taupo News states that the Mohaka river is again flooded. Some natives who were returning, who were returning from Napier after shearing, , were capsized when crossing the river, and lost their saddles, cash, and sun--1 dries to the value of over £100. They ■ had a narrow escape from losing theit r lives. WESTPORT, December 14. Mr E. O'Hara Canavan, a journalist i well-known in various parts of the colony, died in the hospital last night from King complaint. DUNEDIN, December 14.
