Eastern news states that the mission station m Li Chuan Sien, Province of Hupeh, was attacked. Four Chinese converts were killed and the church was burned. The Attorney-General has decided that there is a case for a jury against the two youths Bloomely, who were acquitted by the Magistrate for shooting their father at Ballarat. Received December 13th, 1.20 a.m. SWALLOWS. The Premier, on behalf of the New
Zealand Government, has offered abonui of £100 for the delivery of 200 swallowi within two months.
