GERALDINE ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Geraldine Road ; B6ard was held yesterday. Present — Mf ssrs J. Kelland (chairman), M. C. Orb&l. K. Brophy, and A. Metealf. Tenders were opened for works ns under :— Contract No. 452— Formation and, shingling Waihi Gorge Road, Daniel .Gregan, £24 10s ; Timothy Sugrue, £24 ; Jonas Fifield, £21 18s (accepted). One tender informal, no name. No. 453 — Gorse cutting at reserves, Woodbury — Thomas Chambers, £9 15s ; Scott Bros., £8j 5s (accepted). One tender informal, no name. No. 454 — Gorse cutting at reserves, Orari Flat— Scott Bros., £5 15s; James Henderson, £4 17s 6d; Edward Tetheridge, £4 ss; G. Fifield, junr., £1 13s. E. Tetheridge's tender was accepted, Fifield's tender being too low. Correspondence was received and dealt with as under r—
From K. Bennett, Orari, that the road between his property and that of Mr Payne's be formed. — The overseer to report.
