A SUSPICIOUS DEATH.

(By Tkleuraph. ) REEFTON, May 30. Robert Atkinson, who was brought from Lyell to Reefton Hospital on Monday died on Tuesday night. The funeral which was announced for to-day, was postponed, a complication having arisen which will necessitate an enquiry. The post mortem examination showed congestion of the lungs and that the liver and heart were diseased enough to account for death, but it was also found that the skull was fractured. The cause is unknown and enquiries are on foot. There will be an inquest to-morrow.
