The track on which the various events were competed was m excellent order, having been well watered on Friday evening last. All arrangements were very complete for the comfort of both competiters and visitors, and the Temuka band was specially engaged to enhance the day's pleasure. Mr J. Riordan had a refreshment booth on the ground. The bicycle races were, evidently from the interest evinced, the principal attraction of the day, and the performances of H. J.
