WELLINGTON V. WAIRAEAPA. (By Tblbsbaph.) WELLINGTON, Sbpiembbb 29. The football matoh between the Wairarapa and Wellington Unions was played on the show ground at Petone this afternoon. About 800 were present. The weather was fine, but the ground was very greasy in parts The visitors were the favourites, but Wellington hud all the best of the game and showed superiority ia all departments. In the first Bpell Kelly secured a try which Dunoan converted, and this was the only score in tho first spell. In the second spell Wellington soored 2 goals from penalty kicks, end Wairarapa scored a penally goal The game ended— Wellington 11 points, and Wairarapa 3 points.
