Wheat inquiries are small, and then only for oxtra prime velvet, small parcels of which could now be placed at quotations. Medium milling qualities meet with little demand. Fowl wheat is likely to go still lower. Quotations are— Milling 2s 6d to 12s Od, extra choice velvpt slightly more, medium ,to good 2s 5d to 2s 6d, inferior to medium 2s to 2s 4d (ex 3tore, sacks weighed m ; terms . Oats.— The market is flat. Stocks m store are now pretty well cleared out, but with fresh deliveries almost daily coming to haud they are difficult to quit except at prices comparing very unfavourably with those rnlincr lately. Prime feed and milling Bell m limited parcels at Is lOd to la ICJd, medium to good Is 8d to Is 9£d (ex store, sacke extra ; net). Barley. — There is an idea that shippers would be inolined to operate if prices and quality suited. Quotations are nominal, say, for best malting 3s 9d to 4s, medium to good 3s to 3s 6d, milling 2s 6d to 3s, feed Is 9d to 2s (ex store; sacks extra ; terms).
