ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.

At Addingtou yards to-day the attendance was good, and the entries m the sheep classes very large. ■ CATTLE. 145 head were yarded, mostly light weight cow and heifer beef Steers sold at £6 7s 6d to .£9 10a, heifers £5 5s to .£7 10s, cows .£5 to .£3 10s, beef brought 22s to 23s 6d per lOOlbs In store cattle there was a medium entry, including a number of inferior young stock au 1 ' old cows. Weaners and yearlings were quitted at 18s to 355, 13-months-old ,£1 17s 6d to .£2 2s 6d, dry cows £2 10s to £i 10s, good dairy cows £6 to £9 10s, inferior .£3 to £5. BHBEP, About 4000 fat sheep were penned, the bulk of the entry crossbred ewes and merinos. Best crossbred freezers were the only class which held their own. For ewes there was a drop of Is to Is 6d Best crossbred wethers sold at 12s to 15s 3d, secondary 8s 6d to 10s, best crossbred ewes 10a 6d to 12s, secondary 7s to 8s 6d, merino wethers 7a to 9s 6d, secondary 4s 6d to 6s. In fat lambs about 2000 came forward. The lambs fit for export Bold at last week's rates, but the prices for half finished and inferior were 1b to Is 6d lower. Prime sold at 10a to lls 6d, and secondary 5s 6d to 7s 6d. In store sheep quite 8000 were yarded. Two-tooth mixed crossbreds sold at 7s 6d to lls, young crossbred breeding ew*a 8s 6d to 123 6d, crossbred vrethers 6s to 8a 9d, crossbred lamba 2s 9d to 8s 6d, merino wethers 2s 6d to ss, merino ewes Is 6d to 5s 6d. pigs. I A medium entry met with keen competition at last week's rates.
