Be3t bullocks bronght £1 17a 6d to «£9 l2s Gd, extra prime to .£lO 103, medium to good £5 53 to £1 7s Gd, lightweights and inferior quality .£3 2s Gd to £i 17a 6d, best cows .£5 12s 6d to £6 10a, medinm to good .£3 7s Gd to £3 Gd, inferior .£2 to £3. FAT SHEEP. 2485 were penned, 300 being merino, the quality not so good as laat week. The demand was less aotivo and a fall of fully la per , head has to be recorded. Beat crossbred ' wethers brought 169 6d to 193, one pen to 19a 3d, ordinary 133 9d to 15g, medium quality lla ' 9d to 133 9d, be3t crossbred ewsa 13s 9d to 153 9d, one or two pen 3 extra prime 163 9d, ordi- ] nary 12a to 13a, light 93 6d to 11s, merino wethera Gs to 13s, one or two pens primo to 14a. OBAIN. Wheat — Lit Ho huainc33 13 doing, and sellers are not anzions to push sales. There is no demand for either export or local consumption; indeed there i 3 very little m the market fit for shipment. Holder 3 still adhere to late quotations, viz., for best milling velvet and Tuscan 4s 7d to 4s 9d, medium to good 4a 3d to 43 Gd, good whole fowl wheat 33 Od to 3a 9d, broken 23 9d to 33 Sd, ex store (aaek3 weighed m terms). Oata — A quiet trade is passing for local reqnriementa and export, especially m stont bright milling lines. Good sound feed aorta well grown, proporly saved, and free from weather stains, and eraen seeds aro also moving off slowly equal to lato rates ; while discoloured, smutty and inferior are difficult to place excent at very much reduced prices. A considerable quantity of the latter class is m store. Best bright milling la Gd to Is Gid, extra prime Is 7d, best bright feed Is 54d to Is 6d, medium to good la 4d to la sd, inferior smutty and damp Is to Is 3Jd, ex store (sacks extra net cash). Barley — There is a demand for scod,and small parcels are being placed at about equal to tho price 3 ruling lately as follows : — JPor prime bright maltiog 2a 9d to 3s, medium 2s 3d to 23 Gd, feed and milling Is 8d to 2a 2d, ex store (sacks extra terms).
