Beat croasbred wethers were, 7s 61 to 19s Si, others Ms 6d to 17s ; others 11s to 16s 61 ; merino wethers 9s 3d to 15s 3d ; shorn crossbred w.thers 143 6d to Us 9d ; do. ewea 7a 6d to 11s Cd. GRAIN. Tha wheat market i« still very quiet. Local millers are pretty wall stocked, and only operate at tempting prices. It ia pretty generally held that wheat is etill good stock. At the same time there is no isposition evinced to specnlato at present ruling rates. Oats— The rlemand reported last week atill continues, though buyers aver that they are in advance of ontsido markets, having regard to the attendant transit expenses, ►to. It is nnd»niable that they exhibit no disinclination to buy at current r^tes. Milling sorts have a slightly better demand than previously, though enquiries are somewhat fitful. All feed ofttn ar- eagerly enquired nfter, medium to inferior being moat readily saleable at their lower range of values.
