The reported attempt on the life of the Czar is officially denied m St. Petersburg. SIR W. MACARTHUR'S WILL. The personal estate of Sir William Macartbur m England has been proved at £120,000. By his will deceased bequeathed £60,000 to charity. SHARE ALLOTMENT. Shares m the Western Australian Mortgage and Agency Company are being allotted. RUSSIAN FORCES. The Berlin Post estimates that the Russian force on the frontier exceeds the German-Austrian force by 171 battalions, 100 squadrons, and 45 batteries. PRISON CLOTHES. Mr John Hooper, M.r. for Sou a, East (County Cork) and Alderman of Cork city, who was recently sentenced to a month's imprisonment for publishing reports of meetings of suppressed branches of the National League, declines to wear prison clothes uniesß forced. THE POPE'S JUBILEE PRESENTS. The Pope's Jubilee presents are valued at 60,000,000 francs, of which His Holiness bestowed a fifth on charities. A RABBIT COMPANY. The Daily Telegraph suggests the formation of a company to kill rabbits m Australia, and preserve them for exportation to Europe.
