The directors of the new Oriental Bank Corporation hare declared a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent per annum, and carried forward and placed to the reserve fund £11,000. WOOL SALES. At to-day's wool auction 11,200 bales were offered. A firm, active demand prevails for all descriptions. JUBILEE HONOURS. June 21. The following Jubilee honours are announced: —Crown Prince Rudolph of Austria has been created a Knight of the Garter; Admiral Tryon, late m command of the Australian naval Btation, has been oreated a Knight Commander of the Bath; an Earldom has been conferred on Baron Londesborough; Sir John Sfc. Aubyns, Sir William Armstrong, Colonel Sir J. Hogg, George Selater Booth, E. Fellows, H. Pratton, have been raised to the Peerage. Thirteen new baronets have been created, including Sir Algernon Bovthwick, W. H. Houldsworth, Wm. Pearoe, Charles Dalrymple. Numerous Knighthoods have been conferred among gmayors, the recipients being the Mayova of Turk, Liverpool, Leeds, Windsor, Lord Provost of Edinburgh. JUBILEE WEATHER. STATUE. .London, June 21. Brocks' statue of O'Connell -will be ready for shipment to Australia at the end of the year. BARONET. Sir Charles Clifford has been created a Baronet. THE QUEEN'S |JUBILEE. The Mayfair at Belgravia has been illuniinated with a fiery band. The whole city has been wonderfully illuminated, and has a bright and pleasing appearance. Her Majesty the Queen received a tremendous ovation on her arrival m London. GONE ASHORE. The Hydaspes, Homeward bound from Calcutta, has gone ashore m the Gulf of Suez. NOT SATISFIED. The Times states that the Popo is sending Monsignor Persico as apostolic delegate to Ireland, because he is not satisfied with the attitude of the clergy there. ONLY FIREWORKS. The man who was arrested at Queenstown, supposed to be a dynamiter, has been released, as the explosives found m his possession are believed to be only fireworks. FEARFUL ACCIDENT. Three hundred Hungarian pilgrims have been drowned on the River Danube, owing to a raft capsizing m a squall. VISITORS AND THE PRESS. It is estimated that at the present time there are Jtwo million visitors m London. Even the Russian and French Press eulogises Her Majesty the Queen, and admit the great progress being made by Great Britain.
