« (By Telegraph.) Auckland, Oct. 21. At the Stark Purchase Enquiry to-day, Mr B. Chambers, secretary of the Vigilance Committee, m hii evidence made some strong reflections on Sir Julius Yogel. Mr David Goldie, Chairman of the Vigilance Committee, detailed tho circumstances that Sir Julius Yogel and the Hon. Mr Richardson and Stark were all present on certain dates at Waiwera. The inferences made by the witness were were that during those interviews the sale of the property was negotiated. He believed the public had been robbed of £9000, but declined to name who m his belief were the chief conspirators.
