CABLE CHARGES.

(By Telegraph.; Wblmnqton, Sept. 29. Sir Julius Yogel has received a cable from MrSutton, Postmastor-Gonoral of New South Wales, stiting that he has cabled to the chairman of tht Eastern Extension similar sense to tho communication sent by Sir Julius. The latter was m fact founded on a previous communication fiom Mr Button. Sir Julius Yogel has received no information whatever confirming the message as to the excitement m Melbourne and Sydney over tho threatened raising of rates. He has, however, received anothor cable from \he chairman of tlie Cable Company, m which the latter combats the views expressed m the cable ho had received, and claims the right to raise the tariff, but goes on to add that "the company will postpone raising the tariff until January I st next if you choose to consider proposals with a view to sn amicable arrangement."
