MAORI PIG-STEALERS.
♦ (By Telegraph.) Manaia, July 27. Eight natives charged with pig-stealing were brought up before the magistrate to-day. As it appeared from the evidence that seven of them were acting under the direction of the eighth, they were discharged with a warning, and tho ringleader was sentenced to three months hard labor.
