COMPENSATION COURT.
# (By Telegraph.) Dtoedin, July 27. In the Compensation Court judgment was given m the claim of Smith and Fotheringham for £5500 against the Caversham Borough Council, for £1690 and costs. Land had been taken for street forming purposes, and it was claimed that the tramway siding which claimants possessed had been injured. The council had given plaintiffs a license for a tramway siding.
