Melbourne, March 9. The Te Anau left for the Bluff this afternoon. BISHOP MOORHOUSE. Numerous farewell addresses will be presented to Bishop Moorhouse on his departure for England, among them being one which it is proposed shall be accompanied by a public gift of LI2OO, lists for which are still open. Bishop Moorhouse will sail on the 18th March. EASTERN TELEGRAPH EXTENSION COMPANY. Brisbane, March 9. The Queensland Government have decided to decline to enter into any agreement for subsidising the Eastern Extension Company's cable under the conditions proposed by Mr John Pender for further reductions upon the telegraphic tariff. (Received 1 a.m., March 10th.) RETURN OF MINISTERS. Sydney, March 9. Mr Sutton, Postmaster-General, and Dr Renwick, Secretary for Public Works, whose return was opposed, on seeking re-election headed the poll for their respective constituencies. Government is providing relief works for the unemployed. THE GRAIN MARKET. Melbourne, March 9. The Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports the local market as follows : — Shipping wheat strong, 4s 2d to 4s 3d per bushel ; malting barley quiet, 3s 9d to 4s Id ; New Zealand feed oats m fair demand, 2s lOd to 3s ; malting descriptions m moderate enquiry, 3s Id to 3s 3d ; NewZealand oats, under bond, 2s 3d to 2s 6d.
