Mr R. N. Fowler has been appointed Secretary to the Treasury, and Mr J. T. Hibbert Secretary to tho Admiralty, The divorce case m which Sir Charles Dilke 18 co-respondent, is to be tried on Wednesday next, and should he be acquitted he will take the portfolio of Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Lord Roaebery going to the Colonial Office, and Lord Granville being appointed Lord Privy Seal. Consols and New Zealand securities are unchanged. Adelaide wheat, ex store, is worth 365, Adelaide flour, 24s Gd; and Now Zealand wheat, ex store, 25s to 349, according to grade. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,620,000 quarters. Beat Sydney sun-dried copra is quoted at £14 5s per ton. Leather, Is per lb. New Zealand frozen mutton is selling at 5d to sjd per lb. At Saturday's wool auction 10,690 baleß were catalogued. The tone of the market was dull and drooping. To-day 11,590 bales . jvera submitted. M. de Freycinet opposes the Bill introduced by the Extremists for the expulsion of the Princes from France.
