Oahakv, Deo. 28. The meeting to-day was very successful, and (ho racing was good although there were very frw first-class horfes entered. The weather was fine. Entering tho straight Numi still led, und without being pushed was landed a winner by about a length and a half. Harris) 1 Messrs Mason and Vallanco's br h Vampire, 6yrs, 7st 12lb (T. Morgan) 2 Numa and Blue Poter wero scratched. Vampire led for about hnvo a mile, when Soukar went up, and passing him easily, continued to increase his lead, and won by six lengths. Time —2mins 57secs. Sevan Bolls came m flrat m tho Hack raco, but a protest was entered, which will be decided to-iiiorrow.
