Marquis of Lome ia a rich dapple bay, . rising four years, and stands 16£ hands; got by the renowned imported horse Lofty, who has never been beaten m the colonies ; dam, the celebrated prize mare, Diamond, imported from Tasmania. As a yearling, he took first prize at the Oamaru Show, and second prize aa a three-year-old against all comers. The above horse will stand m Timaru, Temuka, and Otaio districts as follows : — Cobb and Co.'s Stables, Timaru, Friday and Saturday ; Temuka and . the.
