TO HOLDERS OF DEPASTURING LICENSES. rpHE following Clauses from the " Canterbury A Waste Lands Act, ISO" 1," are published lor the intoi inatiou of holders of Depasturing Licenses within the Province of Canterbury : — Clause 3 — lf any holder of a Depasturing License, shall, at any time BEFORE THE Ist DAY OF MAY, ISGG, give notice to the Waste Lands Board at Cliriritcliurch that he is desirous of holding * his license, subject to the ices provided by this Act, such license shall, on and from such date, be subject to such fc-'S ; but this Act shall iiave no effect with regard to any licenses m respect of which such notice shall nt>t have hoen given before the lir-st day of May, ISOG. Clause 4 — The annual fee to be paid m respect of any Depasturing License, held under the provisions of this Act, shall bj as follows : — From the lirst day of M.-iy, ISUU, uiit.l the lirst day of .May, 1613. For every run containing less than one thousand acres, two pounds sterling fur every hundred acres. For every run containing one thousand acres and less tiian Jive thousand acres, one pound thirteen shillings and fourpence sterling per hundi'cd acres for the lirst thousaud acres, and sixteen shillings ami eightpence sterling for every hundred acres m addition. For every run containing live thousand acres or upwards, twelve shillings and sixpence sterling for every hundred acres. On and after the lirst day of May, ISG3, and until the lirst day of May, ISBO : — For every run containing less than one thou&iud acres, three pounds four shillings sterling for every hunured acres. For every run containing one thousand acres and le»s than live thousand acres, two pounds thirteen shillings and fourpence sterling per huudivd acres for the tirst one thousand, and one pound six shillings and oightpeuee sterling for every hundred acres ill addition. TTIS Honor the Superintendent directs ifc to JTA be notified that he has lixed Monday, the nineteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, at the hour of noon, at a sitting of the Waste Land Board, m the Land Office, at Christchurch, as the time and place when a sale by auction of Town and Rural .Laud shall take place, m accordance with claues "J4 and clause 'A5 of the Land Regulations, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and m conformity with the Regulations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown now iv force within the Province ot Canterbury. Applications will be received by the Waste Land Board on and up to Monday, the rifth day of March, one thousaud eight hundred and sixty-six. His Honor the Superintendent also directs it to be uotitied that at the sitting of the Waste Laud Board, to take place as aforesaid, the Timber im Reserves Nos. 235 ami 236 m Duvauchelle's Bay, Akaroa, will be sold by auction m accordance with clause 75 of the Laud Regulations.
