Melbourne, January 12. A cyclone struck a drover's camp | near Hawkwood. Thrpe horses were j swept over a bank and killed. Then; a cloud burst, and five inches of rain, ' accompanied by huge hailstones, fell in twenty minutes. Every tree for twenty miles around was stripped. Birds, rats, aud other small animals were killed, and a drover, who was knocked about, had a narrow escape.
