', Blenheim, June 7. .'J he Premier addressed a crowded meeting last night, and spoke for hours. He severely criticised the tactics, of the Opposition, stating that if those: who opposed the Government would persist in accusing them of corruption while never proving a single case, he might be tempted to give ■ them such an exposure as would make them jegret their charges of maladministration. ~A resolution appreciating ! ; Mr Seddon's distinguished services to thei colony; and confidence in him as Premier and in the Government was carried by acclamation.
