Eleven O'clock Liquor Licenses.

Auokland,- June 7. # It was fully expected that application would have been made to day at the sitting of the Licensing Court for the City' of Auckland district for an extension of hours from 10 to 11 o'clock at night. As a matter of fact petitions were circulated;for signatures beth for and against the. proposal, but the question was not brought before the Court. The Temperance party were prepared to fight the question, and Mr Theo. Cooper was in attendance at the Court on their behalf.
