Poisoning Accident
(Per Press Association.) Hawera, January 21. This morning a poisoning accident occurred. Yesterday a man named Tickleponny, working in the country brought home some oatmeal found in a barn and this morning his wife and neighbour cooked and ate some. All who partook of it, two womon andfive children, were seized with violont vomiting and their position was critical for a time but now they are out of danger. It turns out that the oatmeal was mixed with arsenic and was used by the man's employer to poison rats.
