Charitable Aid Board.
Theadjourned monthly nieetingofthe above Board was held last evening. Present:—-Messrs (Joutts (Chairman), Radford, Foy, Davey, and McEnteer. The minutes were read nnd confirmed.
Financial—The statement by the Treasurer (Mr Thos. Cantloy) of ac counts for tlo past month showed that tho receipts amounted to £CIG lCs lOd, and tho expenditure to £3G119s 4d, leaving a credit balance of £254 17s Gd—Received.
Applicant for Relief. — David Reynolds, aged over 70, of Martha street, made application for admission to the Old Men's Home or for rations lor his Support—Mr Foy and other members spoke in support of the application, and referred to the applicant as being a deserving man—Resolved that he admitted to tho Home if there is room, and if not,, that relief be afforded, him in his present circum* stances.
The correspondence was mostl of a routine nature.
