RECURRENCE OF SMALL-POX AT COLOMBO.
I Sydney, December 2.- | Small-pox has again broken . ont at I Ceylon, A report from Colombo, re« jceiyed by the E.M.s. Oceana, states:, [•'After an interval of several months, during which not a case of small-pox had 'occurred in the city, notwithstanding the long drought and great heat we have experienced, a case of suspected small* pox has been discovered in Churchyard* lane, in Slave Island, 1 which; was promptly removed to the Infectious Disease Hospital, where it was subse*;; quently discoyesed to be a case of small*'; pox. Two cases were removed from the; same -tone on Tuesday to the hospital,; and to-day another case was discovered - in Dutch-lane, also in Slave Islsnfy.and; also promptly removed. The sanitary; authorities are on the alert, and it is hoped i their efforts to cope with the decease; and arrest its spread will be successful";
