ACCIDENTS IN AUCKLAND.
: Auckland, October 2, On Friday last a son of the Kev. W. J. Williams, Principal of the Three Kings Institution, aged 8$ years, met with a serious accident. He was driving a horso into the stable adjoining the establishment, when it kicked the little fellow on the head, seriously injuring his skull. Medical aid was at once obtained, and on Saturday Drs Robertson and Lawry per* formed an operation, on the little sufferer, and extracted several pieces of bone from tlip..woiuid,,-.Tlie lad is perfectly conscious, and strong hopes arc entertained of his ultimate recovery. Much sympathy is felt, for Mr and Mrs Williams in thejr affliction.,". ~
