Auckland, last night This meeting which was adjourned owing to bad woather came off yesterday. The course was heavy owing to the resent rains, There was a good attendance, The following were the results

Also started: Kangaroo, 9st 71b (Fergus), Carronade, Bst (Williams), Le Clair, Bst 71b (Burns). The flag fell to a straggling start, Carronado being the first to show in advance, followed by Don and Armourer, with the favourite last, As they raced to the first hurdle Carronade was still in front but a little further on Don was on termß. Armourer closing tip, the three were almost abreast at the next obstacle, the favourite being still last, As they swept round the turn Don got his head in front, and pasbing the stand he was half a.length off Carronade, with Armourer lying well up; the others being in a cluster three lengths behind. Going up the back Armourer drew to the front, and as they swept into the cutting his victory was loudly proclaimed, but as tbey raced across the top stretch Redwood gave Oddfellow his head, and the Wanganui horse was the first to' land into the straight; At the Derby Stand Armourer came again and he was tho first to land over the last hurdle, but Oddfellow soon asserted himself again, and coming on full of rnnoing won by a couple of lengths. Time, 4min 4sec.
