The winze on the leaders in the crosscut, No 3 level, Darwin section of the mine, is down Bfeet. Gold is being seen freely through the quartz when breakiuc down the leaders, 121bs of picked stone came to hand from here during the week. Six men are still employed breaking out quartz from the hanging wall leader, below No 2 level. Colours of gold were seen when breaking down the leaders.
