Mumcip:il-6W(i!«a/, positions Act, 1876," the Council of the "borough of Thames ordains as follows, that is to say— Tlwt on and after the day 1879 the fares to bo demanded by any porter licensed by the Borough of Thames shall be as follows— 1. .For the carriage of any parcel of not more than 50 lbs weight carried lo or from any vehicle on any wharf to a vessel alongside such wharf the sum of 3d and for any parcel above such weight carried as aforesaid the sum of Gd. 2. For the carriage of any parcel carried elsewhere than herein before mentioned (namely)— For any parcel not exceeding 50 lbs weight carried any distance not exceeding half a mile within the said Borough the sum of 6d ai d for/ very additional half-mile a of 6d. 3.
