His Honour. Sir W. Bassett Edwards, who has, been presiding over the Supremo Court sessions in New Plymouth, leaves . to-morrow Tor Wanganui. , His Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Jelliooe and family leave Wellington this afternoon for Auckland, where they will be in residence for two or three months. j The Pev. H. L. Blamires, who . has not enjoyed the best of health since his return, to the Dominion from service as a chaplain to the Mounted Forces of New Zealand in Egypt, is taking a spell from pulpit work for a few weeks. Mr Georg© Falla, who has been stationmaster at Auckland for nearly six years, retired on Saturday after 41 years’ service in the Railway Department. At a farewell gathering tho railway staff presented Mr. Falla with a fine oak writing desk, and a travelling rug for Mrs. Falla.
