Mr Georg© Falla, who has been stationmaster at Auckland for nearly six years, retired on Saturday after 41 years’ service in the Railway Department. At a farewell gathering tho railway staff presented Mr. Falla with a fine oak writing desk, and a travelling rug for Mrs. Falla.
