Scratched : Utmvai, -Bombala and Lady Polly. -Won by a length, half a length between sccrfnd and third.
TARANAKI DISTRICT COMMITTEE
A meeting of tho Taranaki Jockey Club District Committee was held on Tuesday evening. There wore present: Messrs? L. A. Nolan .(chairman), Nowton King, 0. W. Sole, W. J. Morrison, B. H. Chaney, G. Fraser, J. Grey, H. AVashev, S. Pitt, J. M'Lcod. A trainer’s license was granted to J. Fryer and jockeys’ licenses were granted to P. Holman and K. Lambess. An apprentice jockey’s . license was grantee! to Morris J. Cotton, subject to the AVellinigton Jockey Club having no objection. Owners’ permits to train their own horses were granted to E. Loveridge, W. Lapouple and E. Laurence. M, Conza, trainer, and the horse White Ranger, were disqualified for four years and J. H. Lynch"- was. disqualified for one year for corrupt practices.
