Albert Gnftridge. 17, was drowned _ while bathing at Bristol, and at the inquest the coroner said:— ‘'lt is disgraceful that when there were calls for help, and this youth and the lad who was rescuing him were only six feet from the bank, nobody of the large assembly on tho riverside should stir a finger to assist.”
