Prime ox was alstr . slightly in advance of last week’s rates, j Cow beef and plain steers wore lower. | Extra choice ox sold up to £3 2s per 1001 b., choice and prime front £2 16s to £2 19s, ordinary and prime £2 7s , to £2 12s. ; Rough beef made from £1 15s to £2 ( per 1001 b., and cow and heifer beef from £2 2s to £2 10s. _ Heavy prime steers ranged in price from £25 10s to £2B 7s 6d, the latter price being paid for a line from Mr. Ghas. Spencer, Aka Aka Plains, AA rainku. Lighter prime steers realised from £lB 10s up to £24 10s, Kght prime from ( £l6 to £lB, unfinished from £ll to £ls, and smaller from £7 to 10 guineas. Heavy prime cows mode from £ll 10s | to £ls 16s, lighter from £9 to £ll, and I others from £4 to, £8 10& ’ 1
