It is stated he contemplates conferring with living Alexander with a view' to the establishment of a Greek Republic. The Allies warned M. Vcnizcloa that the return of Constantine would bo viewed with extreme disfavour and involve a ro-drafting of the Turkish Treaty._ An Athens message says the agitation to restore Constantino continues, but chiefly by dismissed army officers and political place-hunters.
