BOY SCOUTS.

All scouts, both Now Pylmouth and Inglewood, who arc intending to be present at the Prince’s inspection are reminded that no scouts will be allowed to parade who is not in uniform. ,(Seo par. 84 page 26 of “Policy, Organisation ■ and Rules,” Dominion Boy Scout As- | sedation.) Whilst we quite underI stand that this order is a bit rough on ■ the boys who have lately joined tho ! movement yet at a time like the. present, the credit of the organisation must bo pla :ed before the feelings of tho individual. All good scouts will fall in with this order cheerfully. Scoutmasters arc requested to see that this matter is attended to. All New Plymouth scouts are requested to meet at St. Mary’s School room at 8.15 a.m. sharp. They will then march to tho Avenue Road and meet the Inglewood Troop, which js coming in by lorry. This day is a red letter day in the history of Taranaki scouts. Wo want every hoy to remember this and endeavour to make his patrol and troop the best one present. See to it that all buttons are on your uniforms, yom j patrol colours on, boots clean and in I fact all those little things wiiich decide whether a troop is a smart troop or a slovenly one. Remember it is the I “little things that tell.” j Now boys you have got tho opportunity, it r s up to you.

In view of tho alteration in the programme all Scouts will muster at St. Mary’s schoolroom at 8.45 a.m.
