Mr. Hall, in an interview with the Australian press, said: “I have been advised by cable that the Government has decided to cangol the five years’ contract entered into by it and myself. Invariably there are differences pf opinion regarding who should receive the various- appointments, but in Australia, until now, contracts once made have been bold sacred. I am the first victim of the new Ministry’s malignity, and 1 hope for the country’s sake I shall be tho last,” Hall sails in the Adriatic for London on April 24.
