Fat lambs: 560 penned, compared with 511 last week, some very prime lambs being forward. For these demand was keen, light sorts being down in values. Extra prime prought t0.38s 4d, prime 30s 3d to 36s 3d, medium 26s 3d to 29s lid, lighter 19s 9d to 25s 6d. Fat sheep: An average yarding, tho bulk being shorn and tho quality good. Fat cattle; A yarding of 353, the bulk being prime. Extra prime steers to £34; prime steers £l7 12s to £3l, ordinary £lO to £l6, prime heifers £l3 to £l7 12s, prime cows £l3 to £lB.. Store cattle; An average yarding of second grade quality. Two and a half to throe-year steers to £l3 10s, two and a half year steers to £lO, 18-months to two-year mixed steers and heifers to £7 ss, yearlings £2 17s to £5 Ss, cows £8 15s. Vealere; An entry, except for weaners of inferior quality. Runners to £lO 12s, I good vealers £4 to £5, fair vealers 42s j to 67s 6d, small and inferior 6s to 425. Fat pigs: A fair entry and keen competition. Extra heavy baconers £9. heavy baconers £7 to £7 15s, others £5 iOs to £6 10s, equal to llfd per lb; heavy porkers £4 10s to £5. others £4 to £4 sa, equal to 12 3d to 13d per lb. Store pigs: A small entry. Medium stores* 60s, small 425, to 58s, weaners 16s 6d to 47s 6d.
