The Supreme Council is discussing the situation in the Baltic provinces created by General von de Goitz who, with his array of 100,000 lias refused to withdraw. General Gough, at the end of July, handed von de Goitz Marshal loch's third ultimatum ordering total evacuation by the end of August and the abandonment of all material to the Allies. General Gough’s visit exasperated von der Goitz, who got iu a violent temper. Gough was impassive and repeated the demands.
