At the Supremo Court J. .Mitchell, licensee of tiio Occidental Hotel, appealed against a conviction for exposing liquor for sale. The. appeal was uphold. his Honour Mr. Justice Hosking holding that there Avas no evidence. The licensor’s wife had authority for being in the bar for the purpose of selling liquor. The appeal against the conviction Avas alloAvod.

At the Supremo Court To-day, Albert Edward M'Konna, 19 years, on throe charges of theft of motor cycles and the theft of a motor engine was sentenced to reformative treatment for 2i years. Leslie Robert Broughton, 20 years of ago, was fined £lO for making a false declaration to tlio Registrar of Births. Deaths and Marriages to the effect that "ho was married to the mother of the child he registered.
