UNKNOWN MAN DROWNED. / Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 6. An unknown man fell from the wharf at Devonport at -1 o’clock this morning. The nightwatchman heard a. call for help and secured assistance. The body was recovered, but life was extinct. Deceased was apparently between 35 and 40. In bis pocket was a telegram apparently intended for tho Drury office, stating that a letter should be sent to Auckland. It boro a signature resembling “John Keating.”
