The Mayor (Mr. C. H. Burgess) left for Auckland by the Rarawa on Tuesdny evening. Princes Albert and Henry will become undergraduates at Trinity College, Cambridge, in October. Mr. Massov and Sir Joseph Ward will roach Wellington by the Pateona on Thursday morning. Mr. G. Dalgeish, 8.A., headmaster of the Timaru main school for the last 13 years, has been appointed inspector of schools at Nelson. Mr. E. C. Stanley has been appointed secretary of the Hillsborough Hall Committee in succession to Air. L. Bishop, resigned. A resolution of sympathy with the. Mayoress (Mrs. C. H.
