HOSPITAL BOARD SECRETARY.

CHARGED WITH THEFT. Per Press Association. ' NAPIER, August 2. James Sclieelo. secretary of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, appeared in the Police Court charged with the theft- of £22 7s 2d. the property of the Board. On the application of the police lie was remanded until August 11. It was stated by the police there- would be a total defalcation of -over £IOOO.
