LIVERPOOL MINE IDLE.
OWING TO DESTRUCTION OF LAMPS. Per Press Association. . , GREYMOUTH, July 31. A fire this morning at tho lamp hut of No. 3 Liverpool Mine destroyed tho | lamps, and the mine is idle to-day. It! is hoped to secure fresh lamps and resume work to-morrow. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
