REPORT OF HEALTH OFFICER, Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 5. Tho Wellington District Health Office reports for the period. April I to June 5 that cases of enteric fever reported wore; Wellington 44, Wafapu 5, Nelson I, New Plymouth 2, Palmerston North 1, Wairarapa 2, 'Wanganui 2, Wairoa 2. Seven cases of lethargic encephalitis have been reported in the Wellington Health District since the disease was made notifiable, tour in Wol-. lington, and one each in Masterton, Hawora, and Potone.' No deaths have been recorded.

The influenza cases reported in tho Wellington Health District for the week ended Juno 2 were: Waiapu 2, mild; Wairoa., 4, mild; Hawora, 1, mild; Hawke’s Bay, 2, pneumonic; Wanganui 2 mild and 3 pneumonic; Palmerston North, 1 mild; Unit, 1, pneumonic; Wairarapa, 2, mild
