RAILWAYMEN’S DISPUTE.
A CONFLUENCE; AGREED TO. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Juno 2. The New Zealand Locomotive Engin, eers, firemen, and Cleaners’ Association! proposes to send to-day a letter to tiro Acting-Prime Minister, in which they accept the Government’s offer of a round-table conference to discuss the matters in dispute between them ana the Minister of Railways, but ask that the Hon. A. M. Myers be chairman of the conference in view of his expert* ence of railway administration.
