RIFLE SHOOTING.

One or two local competitors takd* part in the Patea Rifle Association’s meeting to-morrow. There will be practice on the local range to-morrow afternoon, the range is too well aired in the morning to> permit of rifle-shooting with any degree of comfort; the finals for the Thursday and Saturday Chips wall be taken on those respective afternoons, and the final for the club championship on the following Saturday unless the shield match at Hawera is fixed for that! date.
